completed an administration/accounting course in Adelaide before starting his agricultural career with a Case IH dealership in South Australia. He worked in spare parts for two years before spending the next nine years in sales. Steven’s experience in Vineyard and Broadacre farming equipment ensures the customer receives excellent advice. Andrew Jolley

otherwise known as AJ has moved into our sales team after many years in the workshop. AJ worked his way up to be workshop manager at our Mildura branch before leaving to go out on his own with a workshop based at Dareton in NSW. AJ with his mechanical background offers practical advice on the use and maintenance of machinery. His blunt advice is always welcomed by the farming community. Scott Hewett

was raised and schooled in the Nangiloc / Red Cliffs area of Victoria , on a 900 acre property consisting of Vines, Almonds ,Citrus and Avocado’s. He then completed an apprenticeship with Andy’s Engineers and went on to be a leading hand. He then had an opportunity to go into sales and then become a branch manager ( Andiline Distributors – Agricultural Components ), a subsidiary company to Andy’s. Scott then wanted to move more closely into horticultural industry. The opportunity to be a salesman at Sunrise Ag was too good to pass up. David Maiorana

was born and bred in the Sunraysia area, growing up on a market garden farm in Buronga and now residing and operating a 10-acre property. He attended Chaffey Secondary College before working many years as a Produce Manager with Woolworths, however his passion was always in sales and relating to people’s needs. He commenced his sales career at Onesteel Metaland where he worked for 6 years before becoming a new & used Car salesman in a local Sunraysia Dealership. 4 years on he is continuing his strong emphasis on customer service & delivering on promises at Sunrise Ag. Ray Pickering

started his career as a wheat/sheep Mallee farmer in the Millewa, before moving south and farming in a higher rainfall area at St Arnaud. After a few years Ray sold out to move back to the Mildura district and set himself up as a contract harvester specialist. As well as having a Case IH combine, Ray purchased a tipper truck to cart the grain, which led to him in the carting business – carting amongst other products almonds from the farms back to the hulling plant. Through carting grain, Ray got to know the Almond orchards around Mildura pretty well. An opening came up in the Sales department at Sunrise Ag and Ray thought we would like to do that. After many years of working for himself, Ray started his selling career in 2018 as a Almond specialists machinery salesman.
